HSE Officer

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) from an accredited university in one of the following fields: Occupational Health & Safety (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja), Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, Other relevant technical or safety-related majors.
- Valid General HSE Certification (Ahli K3 Umum) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI) – must be current and officially recognized.
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a similar HSE position.
- Experience in mall/retail/commercial property, construction, or facility management industry is highly preferred.
- Familiar with day-to-day safety coordination in high-traffic public spaces.
- Experience handling external vendors, contractors, or event setups is a strong plus.
- Ability to conduct: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Emergency Response Planning & Drill Coordination, Permit to Work (PTW) and Hot Work procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with safety incident reporting systems and documentation procedures
- Basic proficiency in English is required (reading safety standards, filling safety reports, communicating with non-Indonesian personnel or vendors)
- Able to communicate clearly and assertively in safety briefings or emergency situations
- High attention to detail and risk awareness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and comfortable conducting field inspections in various conditions (outdoor, construction zones, rooftops, confined spaces, etc.)
- Willing to be based in Bali.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments across public and operational areas.
- Contribute to strategies for risk mitigation and incident prevention.
- Recommend and implement corrective or preventive actions based on risk level.
- Organize safety talks, induction briefings, and emergency drills for employees, vendors, and tenants.
- Develop and deliver internal and external training materials related to mall operations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor safety laws.
- Inspect work areas, use of PPE, and environmental conditions.
- Stop unsafe activities and provide real-time corrective guidance on site.
- Record, report, and investigate all workplace accidents or near-misses.
- Identify root causes, coordinate necessary compensation, and provide preventive recommendations.
- Prepare monthly/periodic reports on HSE performance, incidents, and improvements.
- Maintain complete HSE documentation (e.g., registers, checklists, work permits) and share updates with the HSE Specialist and management.
- Act as liaison with local government bodies and ensure company compliance with evolving regulations.
- Provide basic first aid during emergencies within the mall area.
